Remy Faustin, Principal of the school “La Fierte de Mare Bleu,” learned the value of education the hard way. Having lived through the political crisis of 2004 during the term of former President Aristide, he witnessed the grim outlook for young people without access to education. Determined that future generations should not suffer, he decided to start a school .
Faustin believes that his community, which is up in the mountains with inaccessible roads and forgotten by the authorities, can have a better life through education. Lumen Vitae is proud to partner with Remy in bringing hope for abundant life to 50 students in Mare Bleu.
