It’s truly amazing how in times of adversity people are able to come together to help build and protect each other. On Monday, May 22nd, we were able to initiate the Good Neighbor Project “Pwoje Bon Vwazen” by training for young leaders in Haiti at Kay JY (JY house). They spent the day learning about the spread and how to prevent COVID-19 as well as the basics of communication and public health education. The Ministry of public health and population in Haiti also joined us in training and helping us with this project. Our team of community health workers are now ready and eager to go out and visit their communities to distribute the essentials such as soaps and disinfectants as well as sharing their knowledge of the spread and prevention of COVID-19. We are thankful for your help and support and if you know anyone who would like to help with our efforts please share this link: The Good Neighbor Project
